A Few of My Favorite Things, Number 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12

5. My family!
Lately I've been having dreams where I lose people in my family. And when I wake up and can tell myself it didn't happen I become so much more thankful for them. Every family has a few issues, no family is perfect. But I thank God for blessing me with such a great one.

6. My education!
To be raised in a homeschool christian home was great for me. And I am so thankful that I was able to get such a great education compared to most people around the world.

7. Blankets!
God killed an animal and used it to cloth and warm Adam and Eve. We still need and use blankets for warmth now, and I am thankful to have so many. I can't imagine living in a cold place with no blanket to warm you and knowing that God blessed me with one is so grand.

8. Clean water!
Most people who live in America take clean water for granted, but in most places water is dirty and unsafe but people have to drink it or die. And since I live in Colorado I have very good clean water that even people in California envy. So I thank God for allowing me clean, tasty water.

9. My ability to learn quickly!
I have been blessed so so much by having the ability to pick up and learn things very quickly. Being able to look and something and work at it a little and then being able to do it at least average after a day of trying, that is something I am so grateful for. (I'm not trying to brag but merely state that I am thankful for this) So thank you God for giving me this talent.

10. Softness!
Feeling somethings soft, it makes you feel relaxed and comfortable and many other things. Why do we forget sometimes that God created softness? I want to thank God for creating the sensation feeling somethings soft give us, all the things that are soft and making so many different kinds of "Softness"

11. The amount of freedom I have!
I constantly hear people going on about how in America we are losing certain freedoms. People don't even recognize what we have until it gets taken away. And also that in most other countries they have never had these things, we should still be thanking God that we had these freedoms for such a long time, regardless if they get taken away or not. Although people in America always want more and more freedoms I am still thankful for what I have. We may not be able to put the ten commandments in front of courthouses, but we won't get shot or imprisoned for holding them either. When I read about the people being persecuted all over the world in horrific ways I thank God that I was able to get to know Him without these things.

12. Sight!
To be able to see is such a gift from God, and I am so thankful that I can see! God blessed me with 20/20 vision and I am so grateful for it! To be able to look at the world God created is a blessing I am so glad to have.
